Position Overview:
Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of RT Assistant. This position is vital in supporting our team in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) equipment effectively.
- Assist Radiographers in calibrating NDT instruments to maintain accuracy.
- Support Radiographers in conducting tests aimed at identifying quality issues or discontinuities using various NDT inspection methods.
- Document inspection results meticulously for quality assurance.
- Assist in executing NDT procedures, including transporting equipment and performing related tasks.
- Carry out additional job-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification in 40HR Radiation Safety Training is mandatory.
- Some college education is preferred.
- A technical background is advantageous.
- Must possess the experience and credentials necessary to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable, in compliance with federal and state regulations, following a thorough background check.
- Motor Vehicle Driving record must adhere to company standards for operating company vehicles.
