Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team at Ace Hardware Home Services. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical panels.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations, including the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete projects.
- Perform frame carpentry work as needed for electrical installations.
- Install and program logic controllers for automation systems.
- Handle low-voltage systems, such as security and fire alarm systems.
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical plans.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their programming.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Experience working on renovation projects is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
- Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
