Ace Hardware Home Services is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical panels.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete projects.
  • Perform frame carpentry work as needed for electrical installations.
  • Install and program logic controllers for automation systems.
  • Handle low voltage systems, such as security and fire alarm systems.
Requirements
  • Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical plans.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Familiarity with logic controllers and their programming.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience working on renovation projects is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
  • Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
  • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
