Global Partners LP is a leading independent owner, supplier, and operator of gasoline stations and convenience stores in the Northeast. Our company is comprised of multiple brands, including Alltown, Mr. Mike's XtraMart, On the Run, and Fast Freddie's.

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Service Associate to join our team. As a Food Service Associate, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our stores' deli/foodservice department, ensuring a high level of sanitation, store appearance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow team members, engaging with customers through smiles and greetings, offering product information, and providing selling suggestions.
  • Food Preparation and Sales: Prepare, wrap, box, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products, rotating them as necessary to ensure product quality and safety.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Process cash register transactions, give back change, and refunds, using scale printer machines to ensure weights and pricing are correct.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor product pricing, signage, and placement, as well as the use of product shelf tags and shelf signage.
  • Store Maintenance: Keep a clean, neat, and orderly check stand/sales counter and work production areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Age: At least 18 years old.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work weekend, holiday, and/or evening shifts, and assist other locations as needed.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Certification: Serv-Safe certification preferred.
  • Skills: Basic business math calculations, ability to learn new products and recipes, and a love of foods and a creative nature.
