Named Account Manager

Arista Networks is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Named Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to exceed targets within a named list of enterprise accounts in the metro Charlotte area, Upstate South Carolina, and down to Columbia.
You will work closely with our sales teams, customer engineers, and executive teams to understand the business needs of our clients and provide solutions that drive business value. As a trusted advisor, you will leverage your technical acumen and industry knowledge to position Arista's products and services as the best fit for our clients' needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing sales strategies to exceed targets within a named list of enterprise accounts
- Collaborating with sales teams, customer engineers, and executive teams to understand client business needs
- Positioning Arista's products and services as the best fit for client needs
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-levels
- Working with Arista systems engineers to design and position compelling solutions that drive down the total cost of ownership
- Establishing and managing key channel relationships in your territory
- Formulating strategic and tactical account plans based on periodic business reviews with your prospects and customers
- Conducting demand generation activities such as happy hours, lunch-n-learns, and technology forums
- Collaborating with Arista peers on marketing plans and best practices
- Staying up-to-date with technology partner solutions, competing solutions, and competitor strategies
Requirements include:
- 7+ years of technology sales experience
- Proven track record of direct selling into target accounts within the assigned territory and exceeding sales targets
- Relevant data center or networking industry background from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user
- Strong rolodex and relationships within the territory
- Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
- Previous selling experience and technical acumen in one or more of the following areas: networking, SDN, NFV, switching, network automation, routing, data center, edge computing, network virtualization, hyper-converged infrastructure, or cloud computing
