Your Role:
Are you an experienced technician with extensive knowledge in the material handling sector? Do you have a knack for leading and mentoring your peers?

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Diagnostics and Repairs: Conduct intricate diagnostics and repairs on material handling machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.

Maintenance Excellence: Skillfully identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic challenges to ensure swift and effective solutions. Perform thorough preventive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and reliability.

Mentorship: Offer guidance and training to junior technicians, nurturing their growth and ensuring high-quality workmanship while sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients regarding the status and requirements of their equipment.

Detailed Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of work performed, including parts utilized and labor hours, ensuring adherence to company standards.

Safety Advocacy: Promote and comply with all safety regulations and standards, ensuring a secure working environment for yourself and others.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a technician in the material handling, automotive, or heavy equipment sectors.

  • Skills: Advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting abilities. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with a focus on team development.
  • Customer Orientation: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
