The Guest Services Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all visitors receive prompt and attentive service, with a strong emphasis on detail. This position is responsible for inspiring and guiding the team to achieve high levels of guest satisfaction through active participation and encouragement.

- Direct daily operations for Guest Services personnel to maintain seamless operations and property systems. Oversee scheduling and task assignments. Collaborate with leadership to train and onboard new staff and foster their development. May assist in recruitment efforts.
- Guide the team to efficiently manage guest services, including the check-in and check-out processes.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for guest service-related issues prior to involving property management. Address guests' requests, concerns, complaints, and incidents at the front desk in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Work closely with management to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Support site assignments, group requirements, and events as necessary or directed. In the absence of a full-time guest service manager, this role may serve as the liaison between the reservation center and sales and marketing to ensure that group sales and events are managed effectively.
- Participate in daily and monthly departmental meetings and planning sessions as required. May engage in revenue management strategy discussions to stay informed about promotions and upcoming site-related changes.
- Maintain a professional rapport and promote open communication with managers, team members, and other departments.
- Proficiently operate all aspects of the guest services computer system, including generating reports and making simple edits to the PMS system.
- Create a motivating environment for staff to excel in guest services.
- Ensure that the property is consistently clean, organized, well-maintained, and ready for guests at all times.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Regular and reliable attendance is expected.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in guest services.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly. The employee frequently stands, walks, uses hands to handle or feel objects, operates office equipment including computers, calculators, and multi-line telephones, and reaches with hands and arms. The role may also require the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
This is a seasonal position. Based on satisfactory performance, the candidate may enter into a seasonal temporary layoff during the winter months with a commitment to return in the spring.
