AV Concepts is seeking an Event Technology Sales Professional to oversee the full sales cycle from lead management, client site visits, and event kickoffs within one of our local hotel venues.

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience.

Job Description

As Event Technology Sales Professional, you will drive revenue by identifying customer needs and providing audio visual solutions within clients' budgets. Key responsibilities include:

  • Nurturing sales leads and converting them to closed-won opportunities within CRM
  • Building orders in Intellievent (event management software)
  • Collaborating with internal team members to ensure SOPs are adhered to
  • Attending designated site visits with hotel sales and catering staff, as well as pre-convention meetings
  • Soliciting and receiving feedback from clients on their level of satisfaction and areas for improvement
  • Working a schedule that mirrors onsite sales teams at the hotel venue, approximately 8am-5pm, with some evenings and weekends
  • Performing other duties assigned by the Director of Sales

Qualifications for this role include:

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience within audio visual / events or a similar field
  • A proven track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse clientele
  • CRM experience across multiple platforms (Zoho, Salesforce, etc.) preferred
  • A high level of professionalism with written and verbal communications
