We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sustainability to lead our commitment to sustainable practices and shape the future of our products and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability programs and initiatives across Anomatic manufacturing plants in the US and China, ensuring alignment with long-term environmental goals.
  • Propose and implement strategies to address environmental concerns, including energy use, conservation, pollution reduction, recycling, and building design, in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Define and communicate the purpose of sustainable transformation, fostering a culture of sustainability within the organization.
  • Assess and analyze company policies and processes to identify areas for improvement in accordance with our commitment to sustainability, and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee Anomatic Product Safety programs and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, and product development teams to integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of manufacturing processes.
  • Partner with external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies to report on or promote sustainability initiatives, and build relationships to support our sustainability goals.
  • Develop, track, and hold the organization accountable to metrics and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of sustainability/CSR/ESG initiatives, and communicate results to internal and external audiences.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, Biological or Environmental Science/Engineering, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Material Science, or related field.
  • Experience in consumer product sustainability program management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Thorough and current knowledge of sustainability practices and applicable laws and regulations, including ISO accredited management systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to implementation.
  • Professional certifications in sustainability, project management, or ISO management, a plus.
  • Strong materials and manufacturing knowledge, with the ability to analyze and improve processes.
