Join SolutioNHealth, a leading provider of home medical equipment and services, as a Respiratory Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide educational support and clinical expertise to respiratory clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory issues related to respiratory services.

About the Job:

  • Develop and maintain individual care plans, orders, and other components of the client record, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and department medical record policies.
  • Provide instruction to patients/caregivers regarding care, treatment plans, respiratory equipment, and CPR as required.
  • Teach patients how to maintain their clinical care and when to report certain signs and symptoms.
  • Set up related D.M.E.P.O.S. and give detailed instructions to the client and/or caregiver(s) in the proper and safe use of the equipment in compliance with local, state, federal regulation as well as Joint Commission standards.
  • Assist in developing respiratory specific programs and standards of care.
  • Integrate problem-solving methodology and quality improvement in approaching problem areas related to patient care and organizational processes.
  • Evaluate processes related to respiratory services and ensure conformance to organization policy and procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints promptly. Demonstrates commitment to the principles of outstanding customer service.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a one (1) or two (2) year accredited respiratory care program and passed CRTT or RRT exam.
  • Two (2) years of home medical equipment and ventilator experience strongly preferred.
  • National Board of Respiratory Care CRT or RRT; current State of New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner License. BCLS certification required. Valid Drivers License required to travel throughout New Hampshire to provide Home Health Services.
