Dedicated Special Education Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team at ProCare Therapy. The successful candidate will provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring that each student achieves their full potential.
About the Role- This is a full-time position for the full school year, with 35 hours of work per week from 8:30 AM-3:30 PM.
The ideal candidate will have a strong instructional and classroom management style, with the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each student. A bachelor's or master's degree in Special Education or a related field is required, along with valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) for students with special needs, taking into account their strengths and areas of need.
- Provide differentiated instruction tailored to each student's unique learning requirements.
- Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and enhance their learning experience.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, making adjustments to instructional methods as necessary.
- Implement behavior management plans and strategies to support student success.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
- Previous experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and adaptive tools.
