  • Provide attentive care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Implement and follow the curriculum established by Primary Teachers, adhering to Developmentally Appropriate Practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of children in your care, ensuring compliance with teacher/child ratios throughout your shift.
  • Assist in creating a classroom environment that aligns with state regulations and company policies, utilizing effective child guidance techniques.
  • Participate in all required training sessions and staff meetings to enhance your professional development.
  • Ensure all necessary certifications, including First Aid and CPR, are up to date.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, treating all children and parents with respect and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with parents through the designated app, providing updates on daily activities and important information.

Additional Duties:

  • Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the facility, including managing schedules and associate coverage.
  • Facilitate the drop-off and pick-up process, addressing any inquiries from parents.
  • Follow emergency protocols as required to ensure the safety of all children and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Intro to Child Care Profession (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Completion of necessary background checks and health screenings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher.
  • Educational background in Early Childhood Development.
  • Experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
  • Additional certifications in First Aid, CPR, and child development.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform various physical activities.
  • Flexibility in work hours to meet the needs of the center.
