Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspections, designs, and analyses of marine and coastal structures. This will include preparing engineering deliverables, performing structural, coastal, and geotechnical engineering design, and leading above water and underwater survey/imaging/mapping of berths and marine structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare engineering deliverables, including contract drawings, specifications, cost estimates, permit applications, inspection reports, and calculation packages.
  • Perform structural, coastal, and geotechnical engineering design of concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures using applicable codes and standards under the supervision of a professional engineer.
  • Perform above water inspection of marine structures (ADCI certification as commercial diver experience a significant benefit to candidate consideration).
  • Lead above water and underwater survey/imaging/mapping of berths and marine structures.
Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in civil, structural, geotechnical, or coastal engineering.
  • EIT Certification.
  • Working knowledge of current industry software, such as SAP2000, RISA 3-D, Revit, AutoCAD, LPile, Optimoor, Mathcad, and Microsoft Office.
  • 2 years of directly applicable marine and coastal design and inspection experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Base Annual Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000
