Security Director

BridgePoint Associates is seeking a seasoned Security Director to lead our security department and ensure the safety of our clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security and law enforcement, with experience in supervisory roles.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee security staff and operations across our shelters and program centers
- Manage staffing, recruitment, and hiring processes for security staff
- Select and manage subcontracted security staff
- Ensure staff are up to date on licensures and receive proper training
- Review incident reports and provide investigative support
- Oversee security personnel scheduling
- Enforce regulatory policies and procedures
- Manage one direct report and subcontractors
- Approximately 15+ years of relevant security and law enforcement experience, including time in a supervisory role
- Bachelor's degree required
- New York State Security Guard Certification
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to be on call and work a flexible schedule
- Excellent communication skills
