At Ambercare, we strive to provide exceptional homecare services to our clients. As a Family Services Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting families in crisis through our Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide guidance and supervision to families to ensure compliance with court-ordered program participation
- Work with families to address difficult situations and provide support to prevent child placement outside the home
- Prepare written reports and maintain accurate records and court testimony
- Assist families in locating housing and connecting them with community resources
- Provide transportation for parent and/or children to and from locations for supervised visitation
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- An associate's degree from an accredited institution or two years of work experience in social work related to child welfare is required
- Must have a dependable automobile, a valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance
- Must pass the CANTS background check and other required background checks
