Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join their team in Milton, Delaware. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity for experienced professionals to make a positive impact in a dynamic environment.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services, utilizing their expertise in Computed Tomography (CT) technology. As a member of our radiology team, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver High-Quality Diagnostic Imaging Services: Utilize your expertise in CT technology to produce accurate and reliable images, ensuring timely and effective diagnosis and treatment.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Patient Care and Support: Provide empathetic and compassionate care to patients, addressing their concerns and needs throughout the diagnostic process.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of CT equipment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Continuing Education and Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CT technology and radiology best practices, enhancing your skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience and Skills: One to three years of experience as a Radiation Technologist, preferably in CT technology, is desired. Strong technical skills, critical thinking, and excellent interpersonal abilities are essential.
- Certifications and Licenses: Relevant certifications, such as ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), and licensure requirements may apply.
- Physical Abilities: Remain stationary for extended periods, move about as needed, lift and transport equipment (50-100lbs), and maintain a safe working environment.
