    • Licensure/Certification: Required: ARRT or NMTCB or ASCP, California State license, American Heart Association BLS
    • Experience: Required: New graduates may be considered.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and compliance policies, taking action to address compliance concerns and report any suspected violations.
    • Gather essential medical information from patients to address age-specific needs.
    • Conduct radiographic procedures with a focus on high technical quality.
    • Implement appropriate radiation safety measures to protect patients from excessive exposure.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of x-ray rooms, ensuring they are well-stocked for examinations and at the end of each shift.
    • Assist in various areas of the Radiology department as required.
    • Efficiently manage daily workload within scheduled shifts.
    • Be prepared to undertake additional procedures during busy periods.
    • Utilize downtime between procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment.
    • Ensure adequate supply levels during downtime.
    • Utilize the hospital's information management system for patient demographics and other relevant information.
    • Communicate important information and pending tasks to incoming personnel.
    • Coordinate with colleagues regarding breaks and lunches to maintain workflow continuity.
    • Follow departmental plans to achieve budgetary goals.
    • Complete procedures with high technical quality to ensure accurate recordings.
    • Report any changes in patient conditions to RN/MD.
    • Ensure a safe patient environment at all times, particularly for those at risk of falling.
    • Safely transport patients as needed.
    • Correctly identify patients using arm bands.
    • Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures.
    • Demonstrate cost-effectiveness by judiciously using supplies.
    • Properly dispose of all sharps and biohazardous materials.
