Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our Aftermarket Sales team at Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and motivating personnel to achieve exceptional results in distributing aftermarket goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and motivate personnel to include training and utilizing equipment needed to distribute all categories of aftermarket goods.
  • Ensure proper separation of commodities to maximize donation value at its final stage of sale.
  • Implement and maintain a system of record keeping and report generation responsive to the requirements of Goodwill and federal, state, and private agencies.
  • Ensure proper documentation of any and all disciplinary, injury, and/or safety reports.
  • In the absence of a Manager or Assistant Manager of Aftermarket Sales, be responsible for opening/closing the store as well as Goodwill's main warehouse facility.
  • Authorize voids on the cash register, prepare the daily report, and perform other management functions as needed.
  • Assist customers on the sales floor, answer telephones, and maintain clean checkouts.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience in a related field with skills in planning, organizing, reporting, and training.
  • The ability to work effectively and communicate with disabled and disadvantaged individuals.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse setting with noise, temperature extremes, and dust.
  • Open availability to work varying schedules with 3 days off.
  • Must have OSHA forklift certification or the ability to receive certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Proven computer skills and good mathematical skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a warehouse setting with noise, temperature extremes, and dust.
  • Sufficient mobility to supervise employees in all areas of the workplace and grounds.
  • May be required to stand for extended periods and move or lift up to 50 lbs.
