Job Title: Seasonal Camp Cook

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Camp Cook to join our team at Autism Society of North Carolina. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, preparing and serving meals, and ensuring that all food safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for campers and staff, including cutting, mixing, cooking, baking, and serving.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including daily cleaning tasks and refrigeration and freezer temperature checks.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service and maintain a positive team environment.
  • Training and Development: Participate in pre-service facility/kitchen training and autism-specific training to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Age: Must be 17 years of age or older at the time of hire.
