Seasonal Camp Cook

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Camp Cook to join our team at Autism Society of North Carolina. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, preparing and serving meals, and ensuring the overall success of our food service operations.

• Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for campers and staff, ensuring high-quality meals and exceptional customer service.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety standards and protocols.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff and camp personnel to ensure seamless food service operations.
• Training and Development: Participate in pre-service facility/kitchen training and autism-specific training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with the Program Director, Facility Manager, and Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns or issues.

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Age: Must be 17 years of age or older at the time of hire.
