PAC Manager Federal Government Affairs Specialist

Corning Incorporated is seeking a highly motivated and strategic government affairs practitioner to manage and administer Corning's federal PAC and provide research and meeting preparation assistance to the federal government affairs team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the development, approval, and execution of COREPAC's solicitation plan, PAC member engagement and communications, and disbursement plan;
- Responsible for complying with federal and state campaign finance laws and regulations; including filing state election commission and FEC reports.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the policy and regulatory landscape;
- Track and analyze legislative and regulatory policy developments, providing intelligence and insights.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders;
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with political fundraisers, consultants, and vendors;
- Represent Corning in trade associations, and with other key stakeholders.
- Minimum 7+ years progressive experience working in federal government affairs, including a minimum 2+ years Federal PAC management / administration experience;
- Location and Travel Requirements: Washington, DC office (this is not a remote position); Less than ≤15% of out-of-town travel;
- Demonstrated interest in PAC management and public policy;
- Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication, effectively articulating complex ideas in a concise and structured manner;
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability;
- Highly resourceful team player with demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Flexibility to travel and attend evening events;
- Prior government service in federal agency or congressional office;
- Prior private sector experience in a Fortune 500 company or trade association;
