Project Manager II Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager II to join our team at FORVIS. As a Project Manager II, you will be responsible for overseeing projects with sizable teams and large expenditures, ensuring that project commitments are met, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Set and manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties.
  • Conduct project postmortems and create recommendations reports.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years or more of project management or leadership experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership mindset and skillset.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management or another field of study.
  • 10 years or more of project management or leadership experience.
  • Certification such as CPM or PMP.
