Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Teacher at our New Lenox location. As a Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our young learners and supporting the growth and development of our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Classroom Environment: Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and grow, fostering a sense of community and belonging among our students and families.
  • Parent Partnerships: Partner and connect with parents, working together to provide the best care and education for their children, and keeping them informed about their child's progress and development.
  • Center Success: Support your center's success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, contributing to the overall growth and development of our organization.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners, promoting a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
Qualifications
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively, ensuring a positive experience for our families and children.
  • Certifications: Hold CPR and First Aid Certification or be willing to obtain, and meet state-specific qualifications for the role or be willing to obtain.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential: Possess an Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or be willing to obtain, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and excellence in early childhood education.
  • Physical Abilities: Be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors, ensuring the safety and well-being of our children and staff.
  • Communication Skills: Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
