EECU is seeking a Universal Banking Specialist (Financial Center Consultant II, Field) who will play a crucial role in enhancing member relationships and acquiring new clientele by offering tailored financial products and services. This position includes mileage reimbursement from the home base.
The Universal Banking Specialist will rotate among various Financial Centers, serving as a teller or financial consultant as required. This role is essential for providing support during staff shortages, vacations, emergencies, and other instances as needed. You will assist branch personnel in resolving member and operational issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Financial Centers in delivering exceptional service.
- Perform a wide range of member service functions, including teller duties, opening consumer accounts, and engaging in service and sales activities through needs-based selling techniques.
- Proactively promote and support marketing initiatives while building strong rapport with members.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering laws.
- Participate in initial and ongoing training related to compliance and operational standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a financial institution.
- Strong sales skills and comprehensive knowledge of EECU products and services.
- Proficient in cross-selling and referral techniques.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering outstanding member experiences.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with systems such as Symitar, OTG/Application Extender, and various online applications is advantageous.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
- Applicants must have a good credit history and will undergo a background check.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6:15 pm and Saturdays from 8:45 am to 2:15 pm is essential.
- Starting pay is $16 per hour, with opportunities for monthly incentives.
