About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Technician II to join our team at Vestas. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled service, fault analysis, and troubleshooting on wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, including scheduled service and fault analysis
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic work to identify and resolve issues with wind turbine components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance and repair activities
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in wind turbine maintenance and repair
  • LOTO 2 certification and extensive repair work on other O&M turbine models/platforms
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and safety-focused mindset
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repair skills, with experience in main component replacements such as gearboxes, main bearings, generators, transformers, and blades
