Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team at Wind Tech Recruiters. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of wind turbine equipment, adhering to company standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily work scheduling, planning, and implementation of maintenance, service, and repair of wind turbine equipment.
  • Support the operations and maintenance plans to drive operational performance and achievement of business results.
  • Ensure operational compliance to plant availability and cost standards through adherence to company operating procedures and policies.
  • Drive results in the areas of safety, compliance, plant availability, and cost by ensuring all routine and preventative maintenance is performed accurately and documented correctly.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of hands-on wind experience for Junior Technician role.
  • 5+ years of hands-on wind experience for Senior Technician role.
  • Skilled with the GE 3.6 MW Cypress platform.
  • High school diploma or GED, wind school certification or college degree a plus.
  • Demonstrated electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work overtime and rotating shifts as required.
  • Ability to move and manipulate up to 50 pounds, climb vertical ladders, and work at heights of 100 meters.
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, and in adverse and extreme weather conditions.
  • Maintain required training certifications.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment testing and physical exam required.
