Therapist - Residential Interventions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team at NewPath Child & Family Solutions. As a Residential Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing therapeutic trauma-informed clinical services to individual clients in our Residential Program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Individual and Family Therapy: Focus on meeting the client's individual mental health needs through individual and family therapy sessions.
- Create Treatment Plans: Develop treatment plans in conjunction with the youth and their family enrolled in the NewPath Residential Interventions Program.
- Develop Transition Plans: Create transition plans that address ongoing treatment issues and ensure a smooth transition for clients.
- Document Client Progress: Complete necessary documentation collaboratively with youth using the Carelogic electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with Supportive Individuals: Work cooperatively with identified supportive individuals, guardians, case workers, family members, and community partners in the treatment planning and review process.
- Attend Psychiatric Medical Consults: Attend psychiatric medical consults with clients as clinically indicated.
- Conduct Quality Assurance Monitoring: Complete all quality assurance monitoring expectations for evaluation and treatment purposes per program standards.
- Meet Billable Hours Requirements: Achieve weekly billable hours according to program requirements.
- Master's Degree in a Human Service Related Field: A Master's degree in a Human Service related field from an accredited college is required.
- Professional License: A Professional license (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, LMFT) in good standing at all times to provide clinical services is required.
- Mental Health Therapy Experience: Previous mental health therapy experience with an understanding of various mental health diagnoses is required.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Strong skills in interpersonal communication, critical thinking, conflict resolution, and negotiation are required.
- Ability to Assess and Monitor Client Mental Status: Ability to assess, monitor, and record client's mental status, and develop/implement treatment plans is required.
