Job Summary

Signals Audio/Video is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, installing and servicing audio/video and residential electronic systems, and ensuring seamless project completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication and Response: Respond to clients in a timely manner, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Morning Service Department Duties: Perform daily tasks, including monitoring RMS statuses, ordering parts, and checking stock inventory.
  • Field-Level Service Management: Manage the field-level service process, ensuring discreet, clean, and flawlessly functional project completion.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the technical performance and cosmetic appearance of equipment and systems during each service call.
  • Client Recommendations: Conduct objective assessments to recommend Client Care Packages and equipment upgrades.
  • Client Outreach Programs: Collaborate with the Company and Service Manager on consistent outreach programs to engage clients.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new equipment, evaluation procedures, and address frequent bugs through continuous education on supported product lines.
Requirements
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to hold or rest weighted objects, exert physical strength to move objects, and ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress.
  • Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience with audio/video and residential electronic systems projects, demonstrated expertise in Crestron and Lutron control systems, and understanding of cable TV systems.
