Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Facilities team at Wake County Public School System. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to ensure the effective management of our facilities budget.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and budgeting, with experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and providing recommendations to management on financial matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial analysis and support to the Facilities team
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for management
  • Develop and implement financial models and forecasts
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on financial procedures and policies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis and budgeting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle-based accounting systems
  • Knowledge of Wake County Public School System financial systems and processes
  • Experience with data mining tools such as ACL
