Cashier Job Summary

We are seeking a Cashier to join our team at Eurest, a leading foodservice company. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for performing cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion
  • Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
  • Make change, accept declining balance cards, and other acceptable forms of payment; issue receipts to customers
  • Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
  • Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards
  • Observe customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiate between standard portions
  • Replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas
  • Keep pastry case stocked
  • Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements
