Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas Stones River in Woodbury, TN. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our psychiatric unit.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, adhering to the scope of your license.
- Contribute to patient assessments and ensure the well-being of patients.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services as needed.
- Educate patients and families about disease treatment plans, self-care, and available resources.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association within 1 month of hire date.
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
