Job Description:

The Assembly Specialist will rotate between different departments every two hours to perform general production functions, including assembly, machine operation, and quality control of small metal pieces used in medical procedures.

This role requires standing for extended periods, handling small and intricate parts, and performing repetitive tasks. The Assembly Specialist will work in pairs, switching functions every hour to maintain variety. One function involves sitting at a workstation, while the other requires standing. Attention to detail is crucial, and experience with microscopes is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly, machine operation, and quality control tasks
  • Rotate between departments every two hours to maintain variety
  • Work in pairs, switching functions every hour
  • Stand for extended periods and handle small and intricate parts
  • Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Microscope experience (preferred)
  • Experience in manufacturing (preferred)
  • Ability to be on feet for 8 hours

Work Environment:

The facility accommodates about 70 people and is clean but tight, with machines placed closely together. Visible standards and expectations are maintained, with boards and computer screens displaying goals versus actual output.
