Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Counselor to join our team at Pinnacle Treatment Centers. As a Counselor, you will play a critical role in saving the lives of our patients by providing counseling services, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, and promoting a supportive environment for long-term recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the counseling needs of clients and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Conduct substance abuse assessments using DSM criteria and determine the appropriate level of care based on ASAM criteria
  • Prepare and implement the substance abuse counseling portion of the client treatment plan
  • Develop and implement discharge/continuum of care plans to ensure smooth transitions to the next level of care
  • Document all counseling and education services, assessments, reassessments, referrals, and follow-up in the client's clinical record
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client caseloads, including case management and utilization review updates
  • Provide coordination of support services for clients and families, and record services provided in the client's clinical record
  • Facilitate interventions for crisis-oriented issues using a multi-disciplinary team approach
  • Act in accordance with Pinnacle Treatment Centers' policies and federal confidentiality laws

Requirements

  • CSW, LPCC, LPCA, LCSW, LMFT, or CADC licensure
  • Bachelor's degree (required), Master's degree (preferred)
