The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Concessions Supervisor to join our team at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island. As a Concessions Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the team to provide exceptional service to guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign duties to scheduled staff and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Perform service tasks, such as assisting guests, stocking shelves, counting inventory, and cashier duties when necessary.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.
  • Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety.
  • Assist Concessions Manager with staff training and compliance.
  • Monitor daily and hourly cleaning and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Manage labor and profit loss, ensuring optimal financial performance.
  • Ensure proper cash handling and tip record-keeping for the shift.
  • Communicate effectively with associates and ensure they are informed of any changes in policies or events.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to implement rules and direct staff effectively.
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional pushing and pulling of equipment and stock.
