Position Overview:
The Finance Business Analyst position plays a crucial role in managing various accounting responsibilities and projects within the Financial Operations division.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze data related to the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's internal processes.
  • Conduct regular business analysis utilizing diverse databases and reporting tools.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and data as required.
  • Support the Accounting team with various tasks.
  • Engage consistently with internal departments to collect or clarify financial information and documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that align with the core responsibilities.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Two to three years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong data entry capabilities. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups, are essential.
  • Experience with Jack Henry Silverlake is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI is a plus.
  • Demonstrated initiative, thoroughness, accuracy, and organizational skills are required.
  • Detail-oriented with robust analytical abilities.
  • High level of confidentiality is necessary.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and projects with varying deadlines.

Physical Requirements:


Position involves prolonged use of computer screens, reading reports, and working with spreadsheets, which may lead to eye strain.
Ability to focus on tasks amidst potentially distracting conditions is required.
Must be capable of lifting and moving files weighing up to 15 lbs.
Effective communication skills, both in person and via telephone, are essential, along with the ability to write, speak, read, and hear clearly.
Must be able to manipulate numbers, type, and sit for extended periods.
Some travel may be necessary for meetings and training.
