{"Responsibilities": "As a Surveyor for Impact Recruiting Solutions, you will be responsible for conducting on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified health care facilities to determine compliance with Federal regulations. Your duties will include preparing for surveys, touring facilities, observing care, reviewing records, and interviewing staff and families. You will evaluate various aspects of the healthcare facility system, including the quality of care, consumers' rights, and physical plant. Your goal will be to determine if care, treatment, and services are consistent with Federal requirements. You will communicate non-compliance issues with key personnel and determine if plans of correction are acceptable. You will also conduct follow-up visits and monitoring surveys to ensure facilities' plans of correction have been implemented. Additionally, you will assist with facility and bureau training and participate in work groups as needed.", "Requirements": "To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing and have successfully completed CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT). You must also have at least two years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve the residents of long-term care facilities. You must maintain current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) and have demonstrated a history of independent decision-making skills to direct and effectively manage the survey process. You must also be able to set priorities independently and collectively in performing survey tasks, openly discuss conflicts/controversy, and seek assistance when appropriate to make decisions and resolve conflicts.
