Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior ICT/Security Systems Designer to join our Building Engineering Services Group in New Jersey.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for evaluating, selecting, and applying state-of-the-art ICT/ESS techniques, procedures, and designs.

You'll work closely with our clients to deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and select ICT/ESS systems and technologies
  • Design and specify ICT/ESS systems, including structured cabling, backbone/horizontal cabling, and ESS
  • Take responsibility for complete sets of construction documents
  • Independently perform ICT/ESS engineering assignments with broad general instruction from the Project Manager
  • Select and recommend procedures, ICT/ESS devices, and equipment
  • Write specifications covering ICT/ESS matters
  • Perform reviews and work directly with owners as part of the project team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in security system design and familiarity with Autodesk
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture
Preferred Qualifications
  • RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) or PSP (Physical Security Professional)
  • Local candidates are preferred
