Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Bayside Terrace Assisted Living & Memory Care community in Coos Bay, Oregon.

As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

  • Assist with daily care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging them in activities and conversations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy.
  • Report any changes in resident condition to the Resident Care Coordinator or Executive Director.
  • Assist with meal service, including setup, serving, and busing tables.
  • Participate in activities and events, promoting resident engagement and socialization.
  • Ensure resident safety and well-being, responding to emergencies and crises as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficiency in English required.
  • Familiarity with elderly care and willingness to work with seniors.
  • Previous experience preferred, but not necessary; we offer training.
  • CPR/First Aid certification and ability to maintain current certification.
