Nurse Care Specialist

Job Overview:
Bay Area Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Care Unit team. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will apply your expertise in the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, while collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, applying the nursing process to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Teach patients and their families about disease prevention, management, and treatment options.
- Document patient care in the medical record, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Requirements:
- Current Oregon State Board of Nursing licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Recent (within the past 5 years) acute care hospital experience.
