Nurse Specialist II, Psychiatric Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our Mental Health Services team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and coordinate patient care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication.
- Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Two years of experience in acute psychiatric care, with one year of experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support Certification and completion of a hospital-approved course on the management of assaultive behavior within three months of employment.
- Competitive hourly rate of $74.34 to $100.59.
