Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN-Endoscopy Specialist to join our team at Gastroenterology of the Rockies. As a key member of our Ambulatory Surgery Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest levels of patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and review patient health information to identify unique needs and communicate effectively with physicians and colleagues.
  • Coordinate patient prep activities to ensure timely and smooth procedures.
  • Monitor patient recovery, identifying any abnormal situations and reporting to physicians.
  • Provide safe medication delivery and reconcile medication usage, adhering to facility policies.
  • Assist physicians in procedures, ensuring a smooth process and optimal patient care.
  • Provide patient education and ensure accurate documentation of care provided.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure center optimization and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Active RN License (GI experience preferred)
  • RN degree (2 or 4 years)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment
  • Intermediate computer skills, with knowledge of medical software (Intergy preferred)
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in an office environment, operate standard office equipment, and walk short distances. The position involves substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and fingers, as well as the ability to distinguish and identify different colors, judge distance and space relationships, and see clearly at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more.
