We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans, taking into account patient preferences and needs.
- Monitor and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification.
- 5 years of licensed RN experience in an Emergency Department.
This role requires the ability to:
- See and read information, labels, and patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Operate complex medical equipment and technology.
- Stand for extended periods, lift patients, and navigate crowded areas.
