Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans, taking into account patient preferences and needs.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
Requirements
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification.
  • 5 years of licensed RN experience in an Emergency Department.
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

  • See and read information, labels, and patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Operate complex medical equipment and technology.
  • Stand for extended periods, lift patients, and navigate crowded areas.
