Job Summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Infusion Therapy. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and management in an infusion clinic setting
  • Administer biologic IV therapy treatments, place peripheral vascular lines, and perform phlebotomy
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Assess, evaluate, and respond to infusion reactions and other patient concerns
  • Document patient information and outcomes in electronic medical records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification
  • 2+ years of experience working as an RN in a clinical care setting, preferably in infusion therapy
  • Proficient with electronic medical records documentation
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN)
  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certificate course
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
  • Biological therapy infusion experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) programs
