Job Summary:

Promote patient flow in both clinical and clerical areas to provide care appropriate to the patient's age. Perform tasks and responsibilities within the framework of medical information gathering, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive care under the direction of a registered professional nurse or licensed physician, dentist, or other licensed healthcare provider legally authorized under this title and in accordance with NYS Department of Health regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to current Kaleida policies and standards of practice.
  • Promote patient flow in both clinical and clerical areas.
  • Perform tasks and responsibilities within the framework of medical information gathering, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive care.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Current status as RN student in an accredited nursing program.
  • Completion of a minimum of 1 clinical nursing rotation.
  • Successful completion of the basic PC Skills assessment.
