Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our electrophysiology department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of bringing healing ministry to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care across the care continuum, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement standards, training, and communication strategies to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
  • Collaborate with medical device representatives to ensure effective coordination of procedures and equipment.
  • Maintain billing compliance and manage inventory, participating in the ordering and maintenance of lab equipment.
  • Report and act on quality initiatives, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in Cath Lab/Electrophysiology, with 3 years of experience providing care to patients within Cardiology.
  • Associate degree in Nursing or Radiologic Technology, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Nursing license required for RNs.
