Cyber Incident Response Engineer Role

At Ansys, we are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Incident Response Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our company's tactics, techniques, and procedures for cyber incident response. Your primary goal will be to ensure the integrity of our assets and protect our organization from potential cyber threats.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead response operations to remove threat actors from our corporate environment.
  • Conduct digital forensics investigations to identify and analyze potential security breaches.
  • Document cyber response findings and present them to leadership in a clear and concise manner.
  • Perform malware analysis and reverse engineering of suspicious files.
  • Develop and maintain cyber response tactics, techniques, and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Experience with command-level scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
  • Strong technical knowledge of networks, operating systems, and enterprise IT functions.
  • Thorough understanding of VPN solutions.
  • Deep practical knowledge of standard OS distributions.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • One or more of the following competencies preferred (SQL, AD/AZAD, Exchange, Python/Powershell scripting/prototyping, eDiscovery models/workflows).
