Overview

Come work with a dedicated team of compassionate RNs in a state-of-the-art Psychiatric facility in Vermont. Our mission at the Vermont Psychiatric Care Hospital (VPCH) is to improve the health and well-being of Vermont's most vulnerable populations. We have immediate openings for experienced Registered Nurses who can provide excellent psychiatric nursing care. Whether you are an experienced psychiatric nurse or a nurse seeking a new opportunity, you can make a difference in the evolving landscape of mental health care at VPCH. This is a night shift position.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality psychiatric nursing care to patients in a clinical setting.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Possession of (or eligible for) licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Vermont OR eligible to practice in the state of Vermont via a multi-state license.
  • Three (3) years or more of professional nursing experience in the nursing specialty.
  • Ability to work overtime when required to maintain minimum staffing levels and for unannounced regulatory inspections.
