Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Process Engineering Co-op to join our team at Foth. As a Co-op, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills in process engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist process engineers with field data gathering and collection
  • Create and maintain accurate design documents, including P&IDs, equipment plans, and piping drawings
  • Assist with CADD in the preparation of drawings for process and utility system related projects
  • Understand and interpret design and construction specifications
  • Perform standard process system calculations, including pump sizing, material and energy balance, and fluid flow analysis
Requirements
  • Successful completion of 6+ semesters in an ABET accredited mechanical or chemical engineering program
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 and currently in good-standing
  • Required previous experience with and/or coursework involving P&IDs, standard process calculations, and equipment specification and procurement support
