Job Title: Warehouse & Services Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Services & Delivery Driver (WSSD) position is responsible for receiving, organizing, and delivering materials, tools, and equipment to job sites. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including supervisors, peers, administrative staff, field craft workers, field supervision, vendors, and subcontractors, to meet project and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and organize material orders to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Load, secure, and inspect loads for transport to and from projects, monitoring load conditions during transport.
  • Operate Forklift and other equipment as necessary to load/offload materials, adhering to safety requirements.
  • Assist in scheduling material and equipment pickup and delivery to meet deadlines and maintain an efficient warehouse and delivery system.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment as directed by the Purchasing/Warehouse Manager.
  • Contribute to warehouse upkeep, cleanliness, material control, and fleet care.
  • Adhere to Company operating policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety programs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Colorado Driver License with Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Minimum 2-year experience driving commercial vehicles and trailers preferred.
  • Class B CDL preferred.
  • Ability to pass a DOT Physical and drug screen.
  • Ability to pass a background check as may be required at various job sites.
  • Working knowledge of the construction industry, OSHA, and relevant safety practices preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, sit, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or computer keyboards. The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee is required to commute to jobsite and vendor locations. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
