**Job Summary:**
The Critical Care Technician plays a vital role in the delivery of patient care within the critical care environment. Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, this position involves collaborating with the RN to provide efficient and cost-effective care to designated patients.
**Responsibilities:**
* Provides care to patients in the critical care environment, prioritizing based on patient needs as delegated by the RN
* Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of AHMC Healthcare
* Collaborates with the RN to ensure efficient use of time and equipment
**Requirements:**
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
* One year experience in ED or Critical Care preferred
* EKG Certificate upon hire
